Introduction to Judaism

The MJCCA is pleased to offer basic Judaism courses for anyone interested in exploring Judaism—interfaith couples, those considering conversion and Jews looking for adult-level basics. Our classes cover a variety of topics which include the fundamentals of Jewish thought and practice. Florence Melton Adult Mini-School

The Florence Melton Adult Mini-School is a two-year, non-denominational program, which operates in over 70 North American communities and Australia. It is a pluralistic adult learning program which enables adults to gain Jewish literacy through a broad and deep curriculum created by scholars and educators from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. There are Melton schools all over the globe from Sydney, Australia to Portland, Oregon. The MJCCA is proud to offer the Florence Melton Adult Mini-School to our community. Continuing Jewish Education

The MJCCA offers a wide variety of classes to meet different learning needs. These classes are designed to meet the educational needs of adult learners who have a background in Jewish history, thought, and culture.
