You will become acquainted with the local residents, in whose lives you will make a significant difference through Tikkun Olam. You will have the opportunity to meet with their community leaders, while discovering and exploring the beauty and uniqueness of these countries.

Centered Journeys

Centered Journeys offers its participants the opportunity to travel to a region - either domestic or abroad – which will expand and enhance their personal knowledge of the Jewish community visited.

Additionally we will be:

• Establishing firm ties of friendship with the Jewish communities visited, while fostering cultural sensitivity;
• Delivering essential humanitarian aid, identified by the given community, and taken directly to the Jewish community, thereby empowering them to continue their commitment to maintaining Jewish identity;
• Providing skilled and unskilled volunteers the opportunity to complete tasks identified by the community (including physically building or repairing);
• Institute ongoing communication and ties with given community through programs (i.e., pen pals, curriculum building, etc.)

Educational seminars, prior to departure, will provide the foundation for the Jewish journey ahead
