Inclusion Camp ProgramOffering an Opportunity for Children with Disabilities to Participate in Mainstream Camp Programs The MJCCA endeavors to provide an environment that supports and enriches the lives of all children. In order to better serve the growing needs of those on the Autism spectrum as well as those with developmental disabilities, MJCCA Day Camps is proud to offer an inclusion program. With the support of our Inclusion Specialist, Jennifer Lieb M.Ed, children will have access to the same wonderful opportunities as their typical peers. The Inclusion Camp Program offers an opportunity for children with disabilities to participate in mainstream camp programs. Children in the inclusion program may receive special assistance from a facilitator or have accommodations made to the program. Our Inclusion Specialist will work with parents, educators, and MJCCA staff to coordinate the best experience for each child. She will also oversee the Inclusion Program during the summer. In order to be part of the IP, you will need to complete an additional application and interview process. We are open to offering the majority of our camps as inclusive. If you are interested in working with the Inclusion Specialist, or discussing how she can best assist you and your family, please call 678.812.4094 or email inclusion@atlantajcc.org. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
