What is the Israel @ 60 Atlanta Community Festival & Celebration?
Join the Atlanta community on this historic occasion - the 60th Anniversary of the State of Israel. Explore old and modern Israel as we recreate Jerusalem, Tel Aviv/Jaffa, the Negev, Sefat and Haifa at Zaban Park.
12 Noon - At the Community Festival, you'll enjoy:
- Exciting and interactive family activities (take a camel ride, row across the Dead Sea, climb Masada & more)
- Israeli arts & crafts, and face painting
- A variety of fascinating Israeli exhibits and collections
- A coffee house filled with fun activities
- Educational learning areas
- Community groups highlighting their Israeli connections
- An Israeli shuk (marketplace) featuring Israeli artwork, products, and services
- Travel opportunities in addition to delicious food for both Israeli and American palates
3 PM - The Festival continues, and the Celebration begins!
- DJ with popular Israeli music
- Israeli dancing provided by Rikud
- Grand Finale, a special concert by Israel Defense Force's Musical Ensemble
