The Book Festival of the MJCCA

22nd Edition of the Book Festival of the MJCCA

Save the Date! November 2-17, 2013

For more than 20 years, the Book Festival of the MJCCA has offered our community a fifteen-day literary extravaganza featuring the year's most sought-after authors, speakers, and celebrities. Thousands of book lovers come together to listen to, meet, and interact with their favorite authors in a variety of forums including author meet-and-greets, book signings, a community read, panel discussions, children's and teen activities, and more.

Over the years, the Book Festival has played host to some of the most lauded authors, journalists, scholars, and personalities of our day including Rabbi Joseph Telushkin, Alan Alda, Mitch Albom, Pat Conroy, E.L. Doctorow, Norman Mailer, Leon Uris, Elie Wiesel, Rabbi Harold Kushner, Gene Wilder, Annie Lebovitz, Larry King, Madeline Albright, and Yann Martel- just to name a few!

From history to mystery, fact to fiction, politics to religion, and humor to political satire, the Book Festival's exceptional repertoire has something to offer all book lovers.

"The MJCCA Book Festival is the premier literary event in the South."
