The Marcus JCC of Atlanta Presents TWO Exciting Prologue to the Book Festival of the MJCCA Events, Featuring: Comedian and Author Carol Leifer (Sept. 10) And NY Times Bestselling Author Nelson DeMille (Sept. 26)

Get ready to laugh your tuchas off! Then, brace yourselves for a blistering new novel! The MJCCA is pleased to present TWO Prologue to the Book Festival of the MJCCA events. The first event, on September 10 at 7:30 pm, features Carol Leifer, acclaimed stand-up comedian, Emmy-nominated writer, and best-selling author, bringing her special brand of hilarity to the MJCCA stage. Ticket Prices for this event: $20-$25.

The second event, on September 26 at 7:30 pm, features the legendary #1 New York Times best-selling author Nelson DeMille, presenting his exhilarating new novel, The Cuban Affair. Ticket Prices for this event: $10-$15.

About Carol Leifer

Carol Leifer’s one-woman show touches on aging, love, parenthood, family matters, and the world of Jewish humor. Hailed by The Washington Post as "one of the best comedic minds of our time," Leifer has headlined at “The Comic Strip,” “Catch A Rising Star,” and “The Improv.” Her writing and producing credits include Saturday Night Live, The Larry Sanders Show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and Seinfeld – where she is known as the inspiration for the character, Elaine Benes.

Leifer is a regular writer for the Academy Awards and has written for Billy Crystal, Chris Rock, Whoopi Goldberg, and Ellen DeGeneres.
