Curriculum & Facilities

Our Curriculum

MJCCA preschoolers are immersed in a safe and loving environment focused on an innovative, secular preschool curriculum that’s infused with traditional Jewish learning.

Our new, progressive preschool curriculum is based on four traditional areas of child development:

  • Social relations
  • Literacy
  • Cognition
  • Movement

In addition, your child’s Jewish journey begins here with our extensive Judaic curriculum that focuses on eight areas of Jewish learning including:

  • Values (An Ethical Start™)
  • Holidays
  • Shabbat
  • Jewish Text
  • God
  • Hebrew
  • Israel
  • Rituals
Peer K Explorer

An Ethical Start™

The Values-Based Curriculum Exclusive to MJCCA Preschools

Not only will we educate your child of the meaning and customs of the traditional Jewish holidays, but our program stands apart from others because of our innovative, values-based curriculum featuring the character Peer K. Explorer™. We are the only preschool in the state of Georgia to offer An Ethical Start™, available only at select JCC’s throughout the country. This groundbreaking program teaches Jewish values and ethics to our three- and four-year-old students.

From a classic Jewish text found in the Talmud, Pirkei Avot, Ethics of the Fathers, we explore how to live an ethical and moral life. Your child is taught how to turn ethical values into ethical behavior through lessons about respect, dignity, kindness, responsibility, and tradition.
