A Who’s Who List of Nationally (and Internationally) Known Talent

Every November, thousands of book lovers come together to listen to, meet, and interact with their favorite authors in a variety of forums including author meet-and-greets, book signings, a community read, panel discussions, children’s and teen activities, and more. The Book Festival has played host to some of the most lauded authors, journalists, scholars, and personalities of our day including Rabbi Joseph Telushkin, Alan Alda, Mitch Albom, Pat Conroy, E.L. Doctorow, Norman Mailer, Leon Uris, Elie Wiesel, Rabbi Harold Kushner, Gene Wilder, Annie Lebovitz, Larry King, Madeline Albright, Yann Martel - just to name a few!

Over the years, the Book Festival has matured into one of the most highly regarded literary events in the South where Jews of all ages can come together in a culturally rich setting that promotes and strengthens Jewish identities.

The Book Festival of the MJCCA is one of our signature events that you and your entire family won’t want to miss.
