Massage at the MJCCA: Relaxation is Close at Hand

Beginning in December (2011), the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta will be offering an entire slate of professional, therapeutic massage services for your convenience and continued good health.

The benefits of therapeutic massage are many. Aside from the obvious – relaxation and stress reduction – massage also helps improve circulation, flexibility, range of motion, and posture. For many, massage is integral following an injury or surgery. Our talented MJCCA massage therapists are well-versed in a wide variety of cutting-edge massage techniques and each hour-long session is custom designed to fit your specific needs.

Massage is the perfect accompaniment to your post-workout routine. Or, if you prefer, arrive a little early and relax with a hot shower, steam, or sauna. Lockers are provided in our locker rooms, but we ask that you bring your own lock. Your privacy and comfort is our utmost concern. Throughout the entire session, you will be fully draped except for the area that is being treated.

Fees

One-hour private massage: $70. Gratuities, in the form of cash or check, are always appreciated and may be paid directly to the massage therapist. (Please be advised that a major credit card is required to secure an appointment.)

Scheduling (Opens November 28*)

We recommend scheduling your appointment at least 48 hours in advance. However, walk-ins are always welcome whenever time and scheduling permits. Please arrive early as starting late will result in a shorter session time.

Cancellation Policy

Need to reschedule? Not a problem. Simply let us know 24 hours in advance. PLEASE NOTE: Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full amount of the service(s).

Age Requirements

The minimum age for a massage at the MJCCA is 18 years old.

Upon arriving for your appointment, please be sure to let us know of any special needs, medical conditions (including pregnancy), or injuries you might have that would directly impact your massage.

Childcare

The MJCCA offers childcare at Kid Zone, our drop-off child care (for children 6 wks-5 ys) on Monday-Friday from 8-6 PM and Saturday from 9-1 PM. Please contact Kid Zone at 678.812.3830 for rates and to make a reservation.
