Youth Basketball Leagues

Sign up for the MJCCA Youth Basketball program and join hundreds of other participants in one of the MJCCA's largest sports!

Housed in three first-class gyms, our program boasts a professional staff, quality instruction, superior customer service and a series of unique features that ensure the improvement of skills and understanding of the game.

Instruction is provided by dedicated volunteers and focuses on the development of individual skills and technical progression. Our community-inspired programs emphasize life lessons, core values and leadership qualities through sports.

Coaching

Our basketball coaches will tell you how critical coaching is to the league, and how it is a truly gratifying experience. Coaching has the potential to provide a positive experience for players and their families, and can bring you enjoyment as well. We invite you to consider joining the ranks of our volunteer coaches!

Coaches receive support and access to coaching resources and tips, plus professional coaching clinics when offered from the MJCCA staff. We want to ensure that you learn as much as possible about the sport as well as various teaching methods and techniques.

Please note: All MJCCA coaches must go through a background check.

Sponsors

Did you know that sponsorships allow the MJCCA Youth Sports & Camps department to provide scholarships to athletes? Sponsors are an integral part of the MJCCA Youth Basketball program, and for a small amount, you or your business can have a great impact on our youth.

Registration Information

  • Season runs November through February
  • Registration begins in September.

Practices


Zaban Park:

1st - 9th Grade leagues will be a weekday, Monday - Thursday, either at 5:30, 6:30, 7:30, or 8:30. Younger grades will have the earlier practices.

Pre-K program will meet on Tuesdays only.

Kindergarten program will meet Sunday only.

Games


Zaban Park:

Games are held on Sundays after 1:15 pm or on weeknight evenings.
