Every practice focuses on understanding the fundamentals of all four strokes. To join our intermediate team\, swimmers must know how to swim freestyle and backstroke without stopping and have a basic (not necessarily legal) understanding of breaststroke. Swimmers must also know side breathing and how to perform a kneeling dive with a head-first entry. Swimmers will focus more on technique and increasing their yardage to prepare for the next level.  \n \nNew swimmers must be evaluated by the head coach before registering. \nPlease email vadim.ignatenko@atlantajcc.org to get started. \n \nPlease note: During the summer\, swim team will take place at the outdoor pool.
