Planned Giving

Be insured. Continue your legacy.

More than one hundred years ago, Jews with vastly fewer resources than are available today built a Jewish community center in Atlanta. They came to Atlanta with little more than their passion for a better life and they built a safe, secure and vibrant community center for their families and for all of the Jewish Atlanta families who followed. Today, Jews all over metropolitan Atlanta enjoy the fruits of their labors at the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta.

For 100 years, the MJCCA has turned everyday minutes into Jewish moments that are remembered for a lifetime.

The MJCCA is now looking to the community to give back by establishing a legacy. By creating an endowment, leaving us in your will, creating an IRA or life insurance policy, you are making a lasting legacy and will help support the MJCCA for years to come - solidifying it as a cornerstone of the Atlanta Jewish community for the next 100 years.

Planned Giving enables the MJCCA to:

  • alleviate the burdens of burgeoning operating costs
  • provide for continuous growth and capital improvements
  • generate greatly needed scholarship dollars
  • create innovative new programs and services
  • ease the dependence on grants and annual giving
  • lessen the reliance on membership dues
  • provide reserve funds for the next 100 years

Funds can be established through life insurance, charitable remainder unitrusts (CRUTS), endowments, naming opportunities, and other financial vehicles. View sample bequest language.

The MJCCA’s Inclusion Program strives to provide the necessary accommodations and flexibility for youth who require additional support so they may access the transformative opportunities available at the MJCCA. Our Inclusion Team collaborates with parents, educators, and staff to determine if successful program placement is possible. These youth and their families are then supported by our Inclusion Team through program accommodations and may also receive individualized assistance. Click here for more information.
