Kids can stay active and engaged after school!

The MJCCA offers an amazing variety of after school programming for kids in Kindergarten through 8th grade. Keep your kids moving with high-energy activities in sports and fitness and broaden their horizons with cooking, theater, language, and STEM options. After school care with transport to all MJCCA classes is available through Club J. Register now!

Swim Team: Starting in August, Swim Team’s Team’s recreational and competitive tracks instruct, condition, and challenge your kids ages 4-18. Swimmers have a great time at practices and competitions throughout the season, tailored to their swim level.
Tennis: Hit the courts this fall and have a great time playing Tennis on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays! Ages 5+ can join the Jr. Recreational Path for fun Tennis instruction, or progress into the Jr. Competitive Path for ages 8-18 and Social Hitters for ages 11-14.
Gymnastics: Boys and girls ages can stretch, flip, bend, and jump their way to after-school fun! Kids will experience expert instruction and work on balance, coordination, flexibility, and agility. Classes are available every day other than Saturday.
Dance Classes: Step up your child’s dance skills with multiple options of recreational ballet, tap, hip-hop, and jazz classes. Classes are available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
Theater Classes: In Improv Comedy, your child will learn comedic timing, ensemble work, and creative thinking – for 4th-8th graders on Thursdays. Our Musical Theater classes teach children about character development, vocal technique, and choreography – for 6th-8th graders on Wednesdays.
Ga-Ga: Your kids in grades K-2 are going to love this fast-paced, high energy variant of dodgeball that uses a softer ball and focuses on agility and speed. This class is on Thursdays.
Cooking Classes: Kids can experience the sizzle of summer all year long! Your budding chefs, in elementary and middle school, will learn a range of skills from a basic kitchen understanding to advanced culinary techniques used by master chefs. Classes are available on Mondays and Tuesdays.


The MJCCA’s Inclusion Program strives to provide the necessary accommodations and flexibility for youth who require additional support so they may access the transformative opportunities available at the MJCCA. Our Inclusion Team collaborates with parents, educators, and staff to determine if successful program placement is possible. These youth and their families are then supported by our Inclusion Team through program accommodations and may also receive individualized assistance. Click here for more information.
