Join us for the Galloway Running Club!


Sign up for the season Dunwoody Half Marathon Galloway Training Group! If you are a MJCCA member, please use the code "MEMBER" to receive 10% off your registration. The fee for this season is $95 for brand new Galloway runners and $75 for alumni Galloway runners.

Join the MJCCA's Galloway Run Club. Jeff Galloway's quest for an injury-free training program led him to develop this group training program in 1978. Galloway's mission is to help people improve their lives through walking and running. Focus on achieving your distance goal injury-free, while having fun and building your fitness!

Focus on reaching your distance goal through the Galloway Method at the MJCCA. Get yourself on track for a healthier lifestyle, and train to complete your first (or not your first) half- marathon, and set a PR! Running with a group will help you make new friends, encourage you to build your speed and endurance, and cross the finish line with a smile! 

The training group welcomes all levels, from beginners to Boston qualifiers. Pace groups are set up to ensure a comfortable and safe training pace for every ability. We look forward to seeing you!

We are committed to helping our members on their path to a healthy and happy lifestyle. For our resident runners, the MJCCA offers mile-long running trail on our Dunwoody campus, as well as several running routes from one to five miles through the surrounding neighborhoods. We also offer a running club to encourage accountability and camaraderie in your running goals. Whether you’re an experienced runner or just starting out, we have the facilities and resources to help you on your path to a healthier you.

Running Trail

Hit the trail and run toward your health and fitness goals. The MJCCA Running Trail in Dunwoody offers members the chance to enjoy exercise amid the natural scenery of our beautiful Dunwoody campus. Our running course is perfect for adults and children of all ages.

Take your fitness routine outside on our mile-long and half-mile course. Green directional signs guide you along the one-mile route while yellow signs chart the half-mile loop. 

Quick Tips:

  • Follow the yellow markers for the 1/2-mile course
  • Follow the green markers for the 1-mile course
  • Please enjoy the trail at your own risk
  • Please keep to the right so that others may pass
  • Please be respectful of other trail users and of our neighbors
  • No pets allowed
  • No littering

HOURS

Open from dawn to dusk, the trail is available for all members to use at their own risk.

Please note that portions of the running trail are closed during summer camp from 8:30 am-4:30 pm.
