Meditation is a set of techniques to help you increase your awareness and get a new perspective. The goal of meditation sessions can vary from helping you observe your emotions and reactions, to increasing body awareness. Through various meditation classes, you’ll learn to be more mindful, gain a better perspective on your feelings, and find a bit of calm in your otherwise hectic day.
Don’t be intimidated. You don’t need any special skills to meditate! The MJCCA offers classes to beginners and experienced meditators of all ages, and each individual has their own way of meditating. It’s called “practicing” meditation because every person is on their own path to gain insight into themselves.
