Kim Sucan received both her bachelor’s and master’s of education from Emory University. She began her career as a kindergarten teacher with Dekalb County Schools, and taught in the system for 13 years. Kim came to the MJCCA and started as a curriculum coordinator at The Weinstein School in 2010. That same year she became Director of The Weinstein School and in 2018 was promoted to Director of MJCCA Preschools. MJCCA Preschools are comprised of The Weinstein School in Dunwoody, The Sunshine School in East Cobb, and The Schiff School in Sandy Springs.
Nancy Parker began her career at The Sunshine School as a lead teacher for a 3-year-old class before going on to launch the first 1-year-old full-day classroom, for which she wrote the curriculum and assembled the teaching staff. During her tenure with the preschool Nancy also was promoted to Director of Camp Billi Marcus and then Assistant Director at the MJCCA’s former Mid-Town Full Day Preschool. During this time Nancy was also teaching at Temple Beth Tikvah Religious School. She later also assumed the role of Office Manager at The Sunshine School and in recent years was a senior account executive for a local printing business. She has a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Alabama. Nancy is thrilled to get back to her passion for education as Director of The Sunshine School.

The MJCCA’s Inclusion Program strives to provide the necessary accommodations and flexibility for youth who require additional support so they may access the transformative opportunities available at the MJCCA. Our Inclusion Team collaborates with parents, educators, and staff to determine if successful program placement is possible. These youth and their families are then supported by our Inclusion Team through program accommodations and may also receive individualized assistance. Click here for more information.
