The MJCCA is proud to offer the Youth Basketball Program presented by the Atlanta Hawks for children of all ages! Our youth basketball leagues provide your child the opportunity to learn essential basketball fundamentals and enhance existing skills in a competitive, yet supportive environment. Our youth basketball leagues stress both individual development and teamwork, giving each child a thorough understanding of the game while teaching core values and providing opportunities to develop leadership skills. Our unique partnership with the Atlanta Hawks Basketball Organization puts our league above the rest.

Youth Basketball Leagues

Winter basketball season runs from November through February with pre-season coaching clinics held in October. Spring Basketball League runs February through May. Games are played at the MJCCA in Zaban Park. Individual team practices are held at either Zaban Park or intown at the Torah Day School which is located in the Toco Hills community. Coaching is provided by enthusiastic and knowledgeable volunteer coaches.

The MJCCA’s Inclusion Program strives to provide the necessary accommodations and flexibility for youth who require additional support so they may access the transformative opportunities available at the MJCCA. Our Inclusion Team collaborates with parents, educators, and staff to determine if successful program placement is possible. These youth and their families are then supported by our Inclusion Team through program accommodations and may also receive individualized assistance. Click here for more information.
