Dance: Early Childhood

We’re Open!

Please visit atlantajcc.org/reopen to learn about all the details and procedures – including hours of operations – for engaging with the JCC during our reopening.

Small Group Youth Programming
Take a look at the enriching new small group after-school classes in our newly renovated open-air barn for kids in K through 6th grade, including Painting Frenzy, Bocce, Adventures in Reading, Intro to Drama, and more. Plus, visit atlantajcc.org/recprograms to see our current lineup of dance, gymnastics, tennis, aquatics, basketball, and more programs.

Recreational Classes

Our quality instruction helps foster a positive self-image in both girls and boys. For our younger children, we focus on following directions, understanding dance terms, and using storytelling and props for a fun learning environment to build coordination, balance, rhythm, and body awareness. Once they master the basics, we work on improving technique as we work toward our dance recitals. Our fun and engaging dance instruction will improve your child's self-confidence, self-discipline, poise, and grace, while building a passion for rhythm and movement.

Dance Classes in Atlanta

Parents are invited to observe classes one week per semester. Dancers registered for the spring semester perform in a formal spring recital.

The MJCCA’s Inclusion Program strives to provide the necessary accommodations and flexibility for youth who require additional support so they may access the transformative opportunities available at the MJCCA. Our Inclusion Team collaborates with parents, educators, and staff to determine if successful program placement is possible. These youth and their families are then supported by our Inclusion Team through program accommodations and may also receive individualized assistance. Click here for more information.
