The MJCCA offers a variety of learning opportunities for our young tennis players. From playing on our Junior ALTA or USTA teams to private and group lessons, our coaches are passionate about instilling a love for the game of tennis. Coaches place an emphasis on learning good technique and fundamental tennis skills from the outset and now utilize the USTA Quickstart program to introduce kids between the ages of 5 and 10 to the game.

Youth Tennis Program in Dunwoody

The Quickstart format facilitates the learning of tennis by changing the court size, racket sizes, the balls, the scoring system, and even the net height! Now any child between the ages of five and ten can start playing tennis almost immediately - even if he or she has never picked up a racket before. Like other popular youth sports, Quickstart stresses the importance of play and team competition. It's also now part of the USTA Jr. Team Tennis League which means that even more kids will have the opportunity to experience this new format, have fun with their friends, and develop skills that will become the foundation of their game.

The MJCCA’s Inclusion Program strives to provide the necessary accommodations and flexibility for youth who require additional support so they may access the transformative opportunities available at the MJCCA. Our Inclusion Team collaborates with parents, educators, and staff to determine if successful program placement is possible. These youth and their families are then supported by our Inclusion Team through program accommodations and may also receive individualized assistance. Click here for more information.
