- Donor Advised Funds (DAF): Recommend a grant to the MJCCA (EIN: 58-0566126) through your donor advised fund. Log in to your donor advised fund with the Atlanta Jewish Foundation here.
- Appreciated Assets (Stock): Transferring shares of appreciated stock held for longer than one year directly to the MJCCA allows you to receive a tax deduction for the fair market value without having to pay tax on any unrealized capital gains. - Retirement Accounts: Individuals older than 73 may distribute up to $100,000 per year tax-free from an individual retirement account (IRA) directly to the MJCCA. The direct distribution to charity is not included in taxable income.
