Melton sets the standard for high-quality, text-based, interactive, pluralistic Jewish study by offering world-class curriculum that informs and inspires students from all knowledge-levels and backgrounds. Melton classes offers adults the opportunity to acquire Jewish literacy in an open, trans-denominational, intellectually stimulating learning environment.
These two classes are the second year of the Melton Core curriculum and we encourage you to take them together. If you would like to take only one of the classes, please contact Brill.Institute@atlantajcc.org.
Crossroads of Jewish History merges the concepts of history and memory in order to better understand how each has shaped Judaism today. With an emphasis on reclaiming the richness of Jewish history, this chronological exploration investigates significant crossroads where Jews made major decisions that shaped our shared identity and destiny.
Melton Crossroads of Jewish History is the 1st of 3 parts. It is one of the four classes that compose the Melton Core.

The MJCCA’s Inclusion Program strives to provide the necessary accommodations and flexibility for youth who require additional support so they may access the transformative opportunities available at the MJCCA. Our Inclusion Team collaborates with parents, educators, and staff to determine if successful program placement is possible. These youth and their families are then supported by our Inclusion Team through program accommodations and may also receive individualized assistance. Click here for more information.
