THIS PROGRAM IS PRESENTED BY THE MJCCA AND THE IAC ATLANTA

Israeli cuisine exemplifies the true melting pot that is Israel. Hailing from over 80 countries, Jews have returned to their ancient land, bringing with them the foods and recipes they developed during their wanderings. These traditions have commingled with other Jewish recipes, Jewish dietary laws, and the native ingredients of the Land of Israel to create a dynamic cuisine. Join us for a portrait of Israeli people, told through food and taste the culture of Israel drawn from the cultures that make up Israel today. This cooking series is in partnership with the Israeli American Council and will culminate with the class cooking what they learned for a Shishi Israeli (an Israeli Shabbat Dinner) for friends and family in the community. Shishi Israeli will be held on December 7 at 6:30 pm
