Club J Chess Club – Spring ’24
view options Your child will learn abstract concepts of planning analysis and strategy through the game of chess! The Chess Club will go over the basics, how to pick a move, and simple tactics. Your child will play games against one another, practice puzzles as a group, and even play against a better player simultaneously.Join our Chess Fun Master, Gavin, in our Club J Chess Club for a fun and educational 8 week long session. Gavin's love for chess began when he started playing chess with his mom at the age of 6. He started playing more frequently in high school after losing to a mate-in-4 six times in a row. He vowed to become way better at chess, and now wants to spread his love for the world’s ancient game.
All participants must be registered for Club J 2023-24.
