view options This course will focus attention on comparing and contrasting the foundational narratives of Judaism and Christianity;from early narratives found in the Tanakh and rabbinic literature; the evolving initiatives instituted by the rabbis on the one side, and to Constantine’s vision, the "true cross," and more recent reforms initiated by the Church authorities.
