These volunteer events offer great opportunities to contribute to the community hands-on, all while building camaraderie with fellow participants. Join us as we support community partners and the MJCCA.We’re excited to support the Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation, which has been serving communities for over 75 years. What began with a $1,000 donation from three Lions clubs has grown into a vital organization providing surgical care, eye exams, and glasses across Georgia. Their large recycling center sends over 100,000 pairs of glasses worldwide each year, with the help of dedicated volunteers.
We'll meet at the Lighthouse Recycling Center, 5582 Peachtree Road, Chamblee, at 10:00 am to sort and process glasses, then enjoy lunch together at Sabaraba Restaurant in Chamblee (2175 American Way).
