EngAge with a Purpose – Summer ’25
view options You’re invited to take part in a meaningful time of intergenerational connection and impact. This special volunteer activity brings participants together with rising 9th graders from the Summer Leadership Institute at the Marcus JCC Day Camps for a collaborative experience centered on building community through a shared activity and conversation. Together, we’ll assemble Smile Bags—filled with personal care items like toothbrushes and crayons—for children in need throughout our community. Each bag also includes a pre-printed Smile Card, hand-colored by volunteers, offering a personal message of encouragement. Many children who receive these bags hold onto their cards as a lasting reminder that someone cares.
