Gratitude, Part 1
view options Ross Friedman has been a teacher of literature for 50 years and recently taught Gratitude at Emory’s Osher Lifelong Learning. The class is comprised of stories, poems, essays (by such authors as Mary Oliver, Thoreau, Emerson, Wordsworth, and Garrison Keillor), songs, and videos providing a pleasing and uplifting meander through inspiring works. Assignments will be announced a week in advance so participants can read as much or as little as they choose, and all works can be found on the Internet. Regardless of one’s preparation, every class will be good for one’s soul.date | time | location | fee | age | code | |||||||
