Jewish Ethics and Emerging Ethical Challenges

view options While ethical values may be eternal, the questions to which they must be applied constantly are emerging. Additionally, the most challenging ethical disputes rarely are between right and wrong, but are disputes that require us to negotiate between ethical values. This course examines both how the Jewish ethical tradition(s) guide us in making those negotiations and how those values can inform our decisions about emerging issues from vaccinations to autonomous weapons, from artificial intelligence and learning machines to climate change.
