Join with the-cousins-you-haven't-met-yet at the International Jewish Genealogy Conference AND make it local with our MJCCA Genealogy Discussion Group.The International Jewish Genealogical Conference will be held in August and all the sessions will be recorded and available until Oct 25, 2022. There will be speakers presenting Ashkenazi, Sephardi, and Mizrachi research. Topics include everything from the basics of genealogy, to understanding your DNA results, to using JewishGen to do research in the US, Europe, Russia, South America and Israel.
Jewish Genealogy Discussion Group Participants will watch videos at home and join the MJCCA group for in-depth discussions and to practice the family research skills. Discussions in Atlanta will be led by Peggy Mosinger Freedman, a founding member of the Jewish Genealogical Society of Georgia, who has been researching her family tree since she won the Youngest Baby award at her family's reunion.
