Spend 2 Days with the MJCCA's Lisa F Brill Institute for Jewish Learning: Israel with New Eyes: Life and Art off the Beaten Track
Journey through the diverse neighborhoods of Jerusalem to experience the “real” Israel, discovering the vibrant people, arts, and cultures. Join the Lisa F. Brill Institute for Jewish Learning as we travel by light rail, stopping along the line to see, hear, and taste unique aspects of Orthodox, Christian, Arab, and secular neighborhoods. The journey will continue just beyond the city to visit some of Israel’s innovative artists. Enjoy an evening outing in Tel Aviv as well as a cholent and challah tour through Ultra-Orthodox areas of Jerusalem. Throughout the trip, our group will gather to connect and reflect on the day’s events, to draw meaning, feel inspired, and deeply connect with Israel.
