Paul Revere Williams: A Remarkable Architect, Virtual Tour – Spring ’26

view options Led by Los Angeles Conservancy docents and featuring voices from the Southern California Chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architects (SoCal NOMA), this virtual program explores the remarkable life and legacy of pioneering architect Paul Revere Williams.

Over a nearly 60-year career, Williams designed more than 2,000 buildings across Los Angeles County, ranging from Hollywood homes and affordable housing to public housing and civic landmarks, including the Golden State Mutual Life Insurance Building. As the first Black architect admitted to the AIA, he broke racial barriers and helped shape Los Angeles’ built environment.
