Yossi Benayoun

Yossi is an Israeli former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He spent most of his career in England and captained the Israel national team. He also played for Hapoel Be’er Sheva and Maccabi Haifa in Israel. Born in Dimona, he is sometimes nicknamed “The Diamond from Dimona” in Israel. During his career he played for notable Premier League clubs, West Ham, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Arsenal. He is the most capped player in Israel’s history with 102 caps.
