Born and raised in Marietta, GA, Ethan got his start in the world of swimming on his neighborhood summer league team. He then went on to swim year round through high school before eventually committing to Darton State College on a Swimming Scholarship. In college he was a two time JUCO All American. It is his first Summer in the head role and can’t wait for the season to start.

Deanna Bustillos, Assistant Swim Coach
Deanna Bustillos has always loved the water from a young age but got a late start to technical work. She was on the dive team in high school and placed 3rd in regionals. After high school, she didn’t reunite with the water until she started teaching swim lessons at the JCC Manhattan in 2004 where she had top notch mentors. After moving to Atlanta in 2008, she continued her love of teaching swim at the MJCCA. She was given the opportunity to expand her knowledge by becoming a certified USA Swim Coach in 2014. Since then, she has seen kids grow up in the program from just learning to swim to being in our top level, Gold, group. In her spare time, she loves training for triathlons- super sprint, sprint, Olympic, half Ironman distance, and soon to be full Ironman distance.

Our Inclusion Team collaborates with parents, educators, and staff to determine if successful program placement is possible. These youth and their families are then supported by our Inclusion Team through program accommodations and may also receive individualized assistance. Click here for more information.
