The JCC Maccabi Games®, a competitive sporting event modeled after the Olympic Games, offer Jewish teens an opportunity to connect with one another and deepen their understanding of traditional Jewish values, Jewish culture, and to enrich their Jewish identity in a fun, informal environment. Teens between the ages of 13-16 are eligible to compete in the Games as part of Team Atlanta with more than 5,000 other Jewish youth from around the world.
2013 JCC Maccabi Games® and ArtsFest
July 28 - August 2, Austin, TX
August 4 - 9, Orange County, CA

JCC Maccabi ArtsFest is designed for creative Jewish teens from around the world entering grades 8-12. Arts specialties include acting, creative writing, dance, jazz ensemble, musical theater, culinary, rock/pop bands, visual art, vocal music, and fashion/costume design. While not a competition, teens must participate in a local "tryouts" according to curriculum provided by the artist in residence. Teens will work together with their artst in residence and other teens in their specialty to create art for the final performance and gallery.
