JCC Maccabi ArtsFest is designed for creative Jewish teens from around the world entering grades 8-12. Arts specialties include acting, creative writing, dance, jazz ensemble, musical theater, culinary, rock/pop bands, visual art, vocal music, and fashion/costume design. While not a competition, teens must participate in a local "tryouts" according to curriculum provided by the artist in residence. Teens will work together with their artst in residence and other teens in their specialty to create art for the final performance and gallery.
