Preferred and Essential memberships include the opportunity to use Emory University’s Student Activity and Academic Center (SAAC), a state-of-the-art recreational facility that features a fitness center, swimming pools, hard and clay tennis courts, a basketball gymnasium, sand volleyball courts, and more. SAAC charges a nominal fee for the membership card required for facility access. Hours of operation may be found at https://recwell.emory.edu/about/hrs.html. Facility hours are subject to change and may focus heavily on the university’s academic calendar. Facility access may be limited based on the membership agreement. Parking fees may apply. Children under age 18 must be accompanied at all times by a parent or guardian (18+) who also has an MJCCA or Emory SAAC membership. SAAC users over the age of 16 must have a valid EmoryCard for admittance. Children under 16 are not allowed in the weight area. At this time, Emory SAAC does not offer babysitting options.
