The MJCCA’s Inclusion Program strives to provide the necessary accommodations and flexibility for youth who require additional support so they may access the transformative opportunities available at the MJCCA. Our Inclusion Team collaborates with parents, educators, and staff to determine if successful program placement is possible. These youth and their families are then supported by our Inclusion Team through program accommodations and may also receive individualized assistance.
Some of the programs and classes offered through Inclusion include:
Dance, Gymnastics, and Tennis
Sports Leagues: Baseball & T-ball, Basketball, Flag Football, and Soccer
MJCCA Day Camps and Camp Barney Medintz
Inclusion in MJCCA Preschools
Every child develops and learns in different ways. That’s why we hire loving and highly-trained staff who can identify when certain challenges arise, particularly when early intervention is needed.
If and when a diagnosis is reached, we will craft the most appropriate learning path to help your child shine. Since 1996, the MJCCA has partnered with the Adaptive Learning Center to provide specialized services such as screening, classroom support, facilitation, and consulting for young children with learning challenges. This inclusionary program has served as a model to other preschools throughout metro Atlanta.
Our ever-growing and developing Inclusion Program for those on the Autism Spectrum and with other special needs enables children to participate and interact with their typical learning peers—all with the help of a Learning Style Specialist.
We welcome and encourage children with autism, ADD, ADHD, developmental delays, or developmental disabilities to visit our state-of-the-art facilities and meet our incredible staff.
