Pickle-Ball at the MJCCA

Pickle-ball was created with one thing in mind: fun. Pickle-ball was designed to be easy to learn and play whether you are five, eighty-five or somewhere in between. This low impact mini-tennis game is played by 2 or 4 people on a badminton-sized court using a wood paddle and a plastic, whiffle-type ball.

Pickleball in Atlanta

Pickle-ball is traditionally played on a badminton-sized court with special paddles, made of wood or high-tech aerospace materials. The ball used is similar to a wiffle ball, but slightly smaller. The lower net and wiffle ball allow the game to be accessible to people of all ages and abilities, while still being fun for more competitive players.The fast-paced game of Pickleball combines elements of ping-pong, tennis, and badminton, and has been enjoyed for many years by people of all ages.
