Class Descriptions

 
BODYCOMBAT™  The fiercely energetic martial arts workout where you are totally unleashed and empowered. This program draws from a wide array of disciplines such as karate, boxing, taekwondo, tai chi and muay thai.
BODYFLOW™ The Yoga, Tai Chi, Pilates workout that builds flexibility and strength and leaves you feeling centered and calm.
BODYPUMP™ Challenge yourself with the original barbell class that strengthens and tones your entire body. Great music, awesome instructors and your choice of weight inspire you to get the results you came for - and fast!
BODYVIVE™ Low-impact workout where you set the pace. Integrating aerobic exercise for heart fitness, resistance training for strength, stability, stretching and mobility work, BODYVIVE is especially suited to active adults in their 40s, 50s and 60s. It's also suitable for group ex beginners and people returning to exercise.
BODYSTEP™ Feel liberated and alive with the energizing step workout that pushes fat burning systems into high gear.
CAMP CORE 60-minute class split right in half: half bootcamp-style drills, half CX-WORX (See 'CX-WORX' description for details)
CX-WORX™ The 30-minute personal training-inspired core class that's been formulated with a carefully structured, scientific approach and unforgiving intensity.
CORE MOTION  Build functional muscular & cardio strength using weighted medicine balls, gliding discs, tubing, body bars, and/or stability balls. All exercises focus on strengthening your core and the major muscles of your body.
LOW & LIGHT A low impact workout for all fitness levels. First half of class may include low-impact cardio. The second half includes sculpting with weights, bands and/or body weight.
MAT PILATES Pilates strengthens the muscles that support the spine to bring balance into the body. Most body aches and pains are due to muscular imbalance. Pilates helps to realign the spine in order to decrease tension, increase flexibility, and strengthen the body from the inside out.
REV CYCLE  You don't have to be a cyclist to benefit from the calorie burn of the Cycle Studio. Rev Cycle is high energy, fast-paced fun for all members. Experience heart pumping hills, high intensity drills and all out sprints. Light weights will be used in class to beat your muscles into submission (45 min).
RPM The indoor cycling workout where you ride to the rhythm of powerful music. Take on the terrain with your inspiring team coach who leads the pack through hills, flats, mountain peaks, time trials and interval training (45 min).
RPM PLUS 60-minute version of RPM (See 'RPM' description for details).
SH'BAM

A fun-loving, insanely addictive dance workout. SH'BAM is an ego-free zone - no dance experience required. All you need is a playful attitude and a cheeky smile so forget being a wallflower - even if you walk in thinking you can't you'll walk out knowing you can!
STRENGTH CYCLE (new!) 30 minutes of Studio Cycle and 30 minutes of core and strength. Everything you need in one hour!
STUDIO CYCLE (new!) Here is your opportunity to burn max calories in 60 minutes! Rolling hills, tough steep climbs, flat roads and high speed interval training...anything goes in our updated Indoor Cycle Studio!
SUPER SCULPT A workout guaranteed to strengthen and challenge you, using various resistance tools to sculpt & define the body.
TAI CHI Tai Chi is the Chinese martial art that is practiced for health and longevity. Tai Chi is for beginners who desire greater balance, strength, clearer breathing & focus.
YOGA Geared toward success for all students, yoga uses poses and breathing techniques for an intensely satisfying workout. Poses are performed standing, seated, and lying on a yoga mat.
ZUMBA Burn calories by burning up the dance floor! Zumba fuses hypnotic latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a dynamic workout that will blow you away.

Free Childcare

MJCCA Ultimate and Preferred Members receive two FREE hours of Kid Zone childcare per family per day, for all children on the membership, while working out at the MJCCA Zaban Park Campus. Ultimate and Preferred Individual Members who do not have children included on the membership may receive the same service for $10 per child per month.
