Pickleball at the MJCCA

Check out the hottest sport at the MJCCA: Pickleball! This low-impact game combines elements of tennis, table tennis, and badminton, in teams of two or four. The game is played with special paddles, lowered nets and a whiffle ball. Pickleball is open to MJCCA Members and Silver Sneakers participants ONLY.

Indoor Pickleball

  • Pickleball on all three courts in the Mendel Gym will be open on Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:00-4:00 pm and Fridays and Saturdays from 1:00-4:00 pm.

  • Reservations are required via Mindbody. Reservations can be made a week in advance. 

  • 16 players per hour and players can only make 1 reservation per day for indoor play at this time.

  • Bring your own balls and paddles.

  • Members will set up and break down nets and members will be responsible moving the nets on and off the courts.


Outdoor Pickleball

  • Available on tennis courts 5 and 6 anytime that the MJCCA is open.

  • One member is required to make a court reservation for 30-120 minutes through MINDBODY on the Tennis Courts tab.

  • Bring your own balls and paddles.

  • Please ask Tennis Director, Adam Silverstein, for assistance with adjusting the net.


The MJCCA’s Inclusion Program strives to provide the necessary accommodations and flexibility for youth who require additional support so they may access the transformative opportunities available at the MJCCA. Our Inclusion Team collaborates with parents, educators, and staff to determine if successful program placement is possible. These youth and their families are then supported by our Inclusion Team through program accommodations and may also receive individualized assistance. Click here for more information.
