Pickleball has been called “one of the fastest growing sports in America” by AM 1400 ESPN. ESPN continues, “Playing pickleball is a great way to stay active and healthy because it's so fun. It's the perfect game to play as a family; it is one of the few sports where kids, parents, and grandparents can all play together!”

What is Pickleball?

According to the USA Pickleball Association, it's a fun game played on a badminton court with the net lowered to 34 inches at the center. It is played with a perforated plastic baseball (similar to a whiffle ball) and wood or composite paddles. Pickleball players say it's easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players.

The MJCCA Pickleball Team – Registration Fees: The Tournament registration fee is: $15 for MJCCA Members, and $20 for Non-Members and Silver Sneakers members. The group is open to males and females of all ages. Nets, balls, and paddles (limited number) are provided.
