Ulpan Or Hebrew Courses 2025-2026

Ulpan Or is taught in more than 50 schools in North America, South America, and Australia, and is the official provider of Hebrew programs to the American Embassy in Israel.

Ulpan Or has developed a revolutionary methodology for learning Hebrew online or in-person called Rapid Language Acquisition (RLA). RLA allows students to learn Hebrew rapidly, while making the ancient language of Hebrew come alive today in a fun and welcoming environment.

Join our trained instructor and a cohort of fellow Atlantans in these 16-week conversational Hebrew class. Class time includes conversation, group interaction, and independent study with teacher supervision. These courses include 16 weekly classes as well as individual, self-paced online work between classes.

We offer 5 levels of instruction:

Absolute Beginner: This course requires no prior knowledge of Hebrew. We will cover the Hebrew alphabet (Alef Bet) and basic conversation skills.

Level Alef (Beginner): Participants need to be able to read Hebrew and have knowledge of basic conversation. Basic grammar will be introduced.

Level Bet (Intermediate Low): Participants need to be able to read Hebrew moderately well and have some basic conversation skills. Participants will continue a study of grammar and more advanced conversation skills will be taught.

Level Gimmel (Intermediate High): Fluent reading and basic conversation skills are required. Participants will work on advanced grammar and a variety of topics of conversation.

Advanced: Participants need to have mastered the grammar and conversational skills of Level Gimmel and will continue to work with verbs in past tense and complex grammar.
