The MJCCA’s Capital Campaign Transformation

Thanks to the generosity of our Capital Campaign donors, the MJCCA has undergone a remarkable campus transformation—enhancing facilities, expanding programs, and creating meaningful spaces for our community to connect for generations to come. These upgrades ensure the MJCCA continues to be a vibrant, welcoming home for Jewish life, learning, and community—now and for the future.

New Outdoor Aquatic Center

The Zalik Outdoor Aquatic Center features three pools; the Dinerman Medeiros Pool with the Shoob Slide and a relaxing in-pool sundeck; the Samsky Pool boasts covered zero-entry, the Silverman Slide, and multiple shallow areas perfect for kids of all ages; and the Alterman Pool is perfect for lap swimming. You’ll also enjoy shaded pool and deck areas, the Helen Marie Stern Picnic Area, and revamped Sue Sue’s Snack Bar with a wide array of food and beverage options. Learn more.

New Pickleball Facility

The Eva G. Lipman Pickleball Complex has a total of 15 pickleball courts, 11 of which are covered and have high-efficiency fans for all-weather play. Additionally, the covered Zaban Family Sports Pavilion offers multi-sport courts for all ages. Plus, Cadranel’s Corner, our inviting outdoor café, offers stunning views of the action, delicious food, refreshing adult beverages, and a vibrant setting to relax and connect with others. Reimagined Courtyard

Etta Raye’s Way has created a safer traffic pattern and a place for people to congregate. The reimagined Halpern Plaza, which includes the new Heyman Stage and Horowitz Green, serves as a dynamic communal gathering place for programs, events, and entertainment.

Renovated Zaban-Blank Building

The Zaban-Blank Building now showcases a series of sleek, contemporary upgrades—including a refreshed and modernized Main Street (featuring updates to the exterior of the Morris & Rae Frank Theatre and updated Brill Family Activity Rooms), updated staff offices, and the brand-new kosher Fine & Dine Cafe. Additionally, we have renovated the Brill Family Fitness Center with 60 new pieces of cardio and strength training equipment, as well as new free weights, a dedicated stretching area, and new flooring. The locker rooms now have non-slip flooring, showers with doors, lockers with combination locks, and refreshed saunas and steam rooms. Learn more.

Parking Lot Expansion

A baseball field has been converted to surface parking, adding more than 100 new parking spaces and easing parking volume.

Upgraded Turf Field

The upper London Feldman Field has been completely transformed with the installation of all-season turf along with a restored drainage system and leveled ground to better withstand flooding and enhance safe play year-round.

Updates at Camp Barney Medintz

The Capital Campaign also allowed for impactful new facilities at Camp Barney Medintz, including eight newly constructed camper cabins and 10 renovated ones showcasing larger, more spacious interiors and ample storage. Five new bathhouses were constructed with upgraded plumbing infrastructure to ensure capacity for years to come. The Ragghianti Roost is a 1,500 square foot dining hall extension that serves as a multi-purpose space for enjoying meals and providing programming. The new Ann and Michael Kay Commons provides adult staff, such as directors and specialists, with upgraded accommodations.
