JCC Maccabi Games®

Detroit, July 28-August 2 | Houston, August 4-9

Sports: Baseball (Boys); Basketball (Boys & Girls); Dance (Coed); Flag Football (Coed); Soccer (Boys & Girls); Swimming (Boys & Girls); Tennis (Boys & Girls); Volleyball (Girls). You must be 13-16 on or before July 31, 2024 in order to participate. Tryouts are Sundays, January 21 and 28 and February 4 and 11.

About the JCC Maccabi Games®

The JCC Maccabi Games® are an international athletic competition for Jewish teenagers run much like the Olympics. Athletes can compete against Jewish teens from all over the United States as well as delegations from Israel, Great Britain, Mexico, Canada, and more!

The games are five days that can change the lives of Jewish teens. During the JCC Maccabi Games®, teens from communities around the globe are immersed in a sports and recreation program imbued with Jewish values and experiences that promote community involvement, teamwork, and pride in being Jewish. The JCC Maccabi Games® is the largest annual gathering of Jewish teens in the world and has now influenced over 130,000 Jewish youth in North America and around the world.

Atlanta proudly hosted the JCC Maccabi Games® in 2001 and in 2019—bringing the metro Atlanta community together in an unforgettable experience. The excitement was especially palpable throughout the community during the 2019 JCC Maccabi Games®. From July 28-August 2, more than 1,600 Jewish athletes competed in 13 different sports and came together for an unforgettable week of sportsmanship, teamwork, competition, and community service.
