MJCCA Celebrates the Jewish High Holidays with Programs and Events for All Ages
The High Holidays are a meaningful and spiritual time for Jews across the globe. This year, Rosh Hashanah (the festive "Jewish New Year"), begins at sundown on Sunday, September 9 and ends on Tuesday, September 11. Yom Kippur (the more somber "Day of Atonement"), begins at sundown on Tuesday, September 18 and ends on Wednesday, September 19. The Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta (MJCCA) is hosting programs for all ages to celebrate and observe two of the most widely recognized holidays in the Jewish calendar.
