Summer is just around the corner, and MJCCA Day Camps is ready with amazing camps and adventures in East Cobb, for rising K – 8th graders, running from June 3 – July 26, 2019The East Cobb MJCCA Day Camps are held at Temple Kol Emeth, 1415 Old Canton Road, Marietta; and East Cobb campers swim three times a week at Sewell Mill Park. More information: mjccadaycamps.org or 678.812.4004.

“Here, our campers will try new activities, strengthen social skills, and build self-confidence and independence,” explains MJCCA Days Camps Director Meryl Rindsberg.

Selected MJCCA Day Camp Highlights in East Cobb Include:

  • Spy Camp  June 17-21, 2019 (for rising 1st-2nd graders)

Time to crack the code in our Spy Camp! If they choose to accept this mission, campers will participate in tons of cool activities including deciphering codes, creating spy gear, solving mysteries, completing a spy training mission, and more! At the end of the week, each camper will go home with their very own beginners spy kit.

Campers will be introduced to a whole new world of fun science projects. From understanding how ice cream is made and creating it themselves to learning what makes goop so goopy, our little Einsteins will be flexing their most important muscle—their brains.

  • Fencing Camp – July 1-5, 2019 (for rising 3rd-5th graders)

This camp will keep kids moving with Dunwoody Fencing Club’s USFCA-certified professional coaches as they guide the campers through fencing games, footwork drills, and blade work. Campers will experience the excitement of the sport and gain self-confidence throughout the week. Our coaches are sure to foster a love of fencing for all of the campers to last long after the camp program!

Little Veterinarian School® encourages children to role play and explore the exciting world of veterinarians. Using interactive demonstrations, crafts, and games, kids learn how to take care of a pet and use instruments that real veterinarians use. Each camper will take home their own adopted stuffed animal dog, along with a tape measure, dog journal, dog bone cookie cutter, and so much more!

“We look forward to another wonderful summer filled with fun, friends, and adventure,” says Rindsberg.
