Help your teen get an edge in competitive swimming with Swim Stroke Booster, a small-group class that helps your teen better their stroke by focusing on technique and correcting inconsistencies. Ancient Egypt to Present Day is for 18 months to 3-year-olds with a caregiver. Passover, hieroglyphics, pyramids, and the desert – oh my! Over the course of several weeks, we will learn about ancient Egypt through art, games, and other hands-on activities. Toddlers will create several keepsakes for the upcoming holiday as we learn more about Passover in ancient times. Advanced registration required.

Everyone loves to express themselves with words. Here, we will teach you how to stamp out your favorite messages on wearable jewelry. In this class, you will learn the A-B-Cs of jewelry metal stamping, including learning about metal gauges, practicing stamping on different metals (brass, stainless steel and aluminum), proper filing techniques, texturizing your jewelry blanks to create a hammered effect, and more. By the end of the class, you will walk away with two beautiful new pieces to call your own. Supplies are provided.

Yom HaShoah Holocaust Remembrance Day Ceremony

All are invited to a Holocaust commemoration ceremony featuring guest speaker, Pamela Sampson, who wrote, “No Reply: A Jewish Child Aboard the MS St. Louis and the Ordeal That Followed.” The topic is especially meaningful because 2019 is the 80th anniversary of the voyage of the MS St. Louis. The program will also include readings, memorial prayers, and the lighting of six torches in memory of those who perished in the Holocaust.
