MJCCA to Host FREE Week of Workouts & Beat the Heat Fitness Challenge
July 25-31, 2016
Since we are rolling out a quarterly new release for our Les Mills® program, which features exciting new moves, new music, and new routines, it is a great time to welcome the community to experience the quality of our classes, our exceptional instructors, and the scope of our fitness amenities,” notes DeAnne Jacobson, MJCCA Group Fitness Director.
During the Free Week, the community is invited to take fitness classes including Les Mills® (MJCCA is a licensed facility), H.E.A.T, FitLine Functional Fitness, TRX®, indoor cycling, coreBarre®, and many free-style classes.
In addition, the MJCCA is hosting a Beat the Heat Fitness Challenge to encourage people to take their fitness routines to the next level by incorporating new activities and utilizing all of the fitness programs on the Zaban Park campus (5342 Tilly Mill Road, Dunwoody).
“We are promoting wellness-related activities that improve health, mood, balance, and teamwork,” explains Tina Luftig, MJCCA director of membership and fitness. “We want people to venture outside their comfort zones, and have fun competing to earn daily points and prizes,” Luftig adds.
The challenge is free and open to MJCCA members and the community, and offers activities and classes on the Zaban Park campus, including: Zumba, Yoga, indoor cycling, fitness classes, boating and sunrise yoga on the lake, Kinesis demonstrations, and meditation in the garden. The Beat the Heat Fitness Challenge is open to people at all fitness levels.
