About Jerry’s Habima Theatre

For 26 seasons, Jerry's Habima Theatre has brought together professional actors from the community and talented adult actors with special needs to present a musical theatrical production to sell-out audiences and much acclaim. Jerry’s Habima Theatre, a program of the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta (MJCCA), is produced under the auspices of the MJCCA’s Blonder Family Department for Special Needs.

About the Show

With a Greek muse, ‘80s nostalgia, a forbidden love, and chaos abounding, you have to believe Xanadu JR. is MAGIC! Don’t miss this electrifying musical tale, full of romance, art, and dancing, ideal for audiences of all ages.

Rachel Fox Weitz, Chair, Jerry’s Habima Theatre’s 26th Production

“Making art is a journey that includes overcoming obstacles and staying positive,” explains Weitz. “This message is loud and clear in this light-hearted, campy combination of classic ‘80s tunes and Greek mythology.  Audiences will root for the power of the arts, the inspiration of love – all while singing along to I’m Alive, Xanadu, Magic, and many more.”
