Team Atlanta Headed to 2016 Maccabi Games to Win!
“It takes a village to put together the JCC Maccabi Games and Team Atlanta could not be more excited to be a part of that village,” says Jack Vangrofsky, MJCCA Direct Adult Sports.
The JCC Maccabi Games® are an Olympic-style sporting competition held each summer in North America and is the second largest organized sports program for Jewish teenagers in the world. The JCC Maccabi Games provide Jewish teenagers with the opportunity to connect to their Jewish community by using sports as the vehicle for connection.
Thousands of Jewish athletes come together from all over the world, and magic is created. Athletes bond over their love of sports and their shared Jewish heritage while competing, socializing at a variety of evening activities, and getting to know their host family who has graciously opened their homes for the week of competition.
Team Atlanta athletes Sami Hertz and Sydney Fialkow, are looking forward to all the excitement that the Maccabi Games have to offer.
