The Marcus JCC of Atlanta (MJCCA) Plans Hanukah Celebrations for Kids & Families, and Young Adults
In preparation for the celebratory holiday of Hanukah, the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta (MJCCA) is pleased to present several community-wide Hanukah programs, at various locations across the city. Visit www.atlantajcc.org for a complete schedule of activities.

Hanukah Hippo Hopp (For Kids & Families)
When: Sunday, November 24, 12:45 - 2:45 pm
Where: Hippo Hop, 1936 Briarwood Court NE, 30329
Fee: Children (3+) $6.75, Children (under 3) $3.75, Infants & Adults are FREE (payable at Hippo Hop)
Open to the Community
Details: Join Rabbi Ingber for a fun Hanukah holiday experience with stories, songs and play time at Atlanta’s first truly eco-friendly, non-toxic indoor playground. Hippo Hop features a large variety of play structures including Atlanta’s only indoor maze, a Mega 3-lane obstacle course, fantastic gladiator ring and much more. The program will include songs, stories and fun Hanukah crafts.

Hanukah Hootenanny (For Kids & Families)
When: Monday, December 2, 5:15 - 6:15 pm
Where: MJCCA at Zaban Park - 5342 Tilly Mill Road, Dunwoody, 30338
Fee: Free and Open to the Community
Details: Families are invited to a community Hanukah celebration at the MJCCA. Festivities will include a Menorah lighting, songs, jelly doughnuts and a special performance of “Milton the Menorah” by The Bible Players. This retelling of the Festival of Light features the story of Milton the Menorah, an insecure menorah who finds the spirit to shine. From the Priest Matthias to the buffoonish King Antiochus, this is sure to make your Hanukah hilarious! Hanukah dinner available for purchase following the show.

Menorahs at Menchie’s (For Kids & Families)
When: Tuesday, December 3, 6:30 pm- 8:00 pm
Where: Menchies, 3011 N. Druid Hills Rd, 30329
Fee: Free and Open to the Community
Details: All are invited to a fun-filled Hanukah party featuring dreidel games, Menorah lighting, crafts, songs, stories and more! Participants will be treated to a 20% discount on their yogurt purchase, courtesy of Menchie’s. This event is sponsored by the MJCCA, Young Israel of Toco Hills, Torah Day School of Atlanta, and Congregation Beth Jacob.

Vodka & Latkes (For Young Adults)
When: Thursday, December 5, 7:00 pm – 12:00 am
Where: Shout, Midtown Atlanta, 1197 Peachtree St NE, Atlanta, GA 30361
Fee: $15 for MJCCA Members, and $20 for the community, $25 at the door.
Details: It's that time of year! Atlanta biggest Hanukah party for Young Adults is at Shout in Midtown. Dance the night away or enjoy a cocktail on the roof top deck! All tickets include complimentary valet, a drink ticket and all you can eat latkes! Open to the Community

Hershel and the Hanukkah Goblins (A Family Musical)
When: December 5 and 8
Where: The MJCCA’s Morris & Rae Frank Theatre (5342 Tilly Mill Road, Dunwoody)
Fee: $10-$15
Details: A feisty band of goblins has stolen Hanukah, and it’s up to brave young Hershel of Ostropol to get it back! The MJCCA is proud to present the return of this popular family musical production, which also features the MJCCA’s J Dance Company. Best for ages 3+.
